Bullet connecters or?. What gauge for wires

Hi All. I have been a clod devotee since they were just an embryo. I decided to build one out of a fantasy in my mind, now having plenty of time and decent resources. I have two mamba monster escs. I havent decided on motors yet except for the fact that they must be 5mm shafts. one dilemma is wether or not to use bullet or other type connecters. bearing in mind that I will use 2s to 6s lipos depending on racing application. I will also use various pinions for the same reason. I know that I will at times pump major amps thru the beast. So I am thinking 10 gauge wire.
Hoping for sage advice and looking forward to contributing useful information to others in the future.
Thank you

Bullets would work but i know a lot of people use Deans for the motors. That's that's one the one i have.

if you are referring to the stock bullet connecters then ditch them all and use the deans.you will not be sorry and save yourself alot of head aches.i never had a deans fail as of yet.bullets?-i'd be rich for every failure

I now run 6mm gold bullets on my 2 trucks & boat ( I run dual 2S Lipo). Reliable and less of a PITA to plug in and out than Deans! :wnk

Thanks. So are we saying that gold bullet connectors are superior to deans or equal but easier to plug and unplug. What about 10 gauge wire for high amps or is 12 gague sufficient.

Super! I am going to use 10 gauge wire ,it can only be better not worse. Moving on to the motors is a different situation. I want to have maximum flexibility as to pinion gears from 6 to 16 tooth and lipos 2s to 6s. I know that rules out high KV motors. Giving consideration to neu/castle 5mm shaft 2200 KV. I have no current personal knowledge about brushless quality so please help me in my quest.
Thanks Guys

the castle bullets seem to be great. im im the process of switching all my rigs to the 4mm.
(im not running crazy power like you are talking!)
also, the neu motors, from what i hear, are awesome.
however, ez-run and kershaw make some cheaper motors that can still get crazy power.
they may not last as long (they might) but they cost a lot less.
