Boyer Clod Build aka Behemoth #2

Slowly but surely building up my Boyer Clod. Starting with cantilever suspension to see how that works. I'm thinking of doing a fleet of 4 trucks with the same name just different versions similar to how Bigfoot has different versions. This is my second truck, first tuber. I had John Boyer make this with the intent of using it for racing, not really a shelf queen guy lol. I wasn't concerned with it matching perfectly with any existing chassis although he said it is somewhat paterned off the Bigfoot 18 chassis. I'm working on the lexan sponsor plates now as well as lexan platforms for electronics.

The chassis looks amazing, John Boyer make the best frame's. What are you going to run in it for setup.

I'm probably going to run Castle Sv2s and 5700 kV motors like I have in my other clod.

I added the Hesse Machine sway bars the other day and they fit great! Just waiting on links from CPE to mount them to the axles. I also installed the lexan sponsor plates (I wish they were cut a little better). I know, I know, I still need more stickers lol! I installed a CPE vertical servo mount in the rear so I can run 4 wheel steering. Now I'm trying to think of how I'm going to mount the battery. The electronics plate will be easy. I'm thinking of mounting the battery under the electronics so it will be just above the sponsor plates so it won't be visible with the body on.

I got the custom links from CPE and put black shrink wrap on them and got them installed. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep the cantilever set up or switch to a standard shock setup.

looking good! Hey this fall when the Michigan Monster series start back up, you need to come with me. Once a month, road trip to Michigan to race the trucks :)

Finally got the electronics started! So far I have the reciever with Novak glitch buster, two Hitec 7954 servos and two Castle 5700kv motors. I still need to solder battery connectors on the SV3's and get them installed.
