New video... nothing special, just edited a couple vids together and added some music. The music is a little NSFW so you may want to check your volume.

It's been quite a while since I ran my E-Maxx and it was kind of disappointing me. I usually run my single-pack RC's so I can get the most out of what packs I have. Even tho these GP 6cell 3300 flat packs were charged last week and I only got about 5-10 minutes out of them, I remembered how awesome big RC's are. The last couple weeks I've mentioned possibly selling my E-Maxx but now I don't know. After the quick run on Saturday someone on another forum was interested in buying it and asked what I'd sell for. Total, I have about $700 into this truck and would probably ask for more than anyone would want to pay. So... my E-Maxx probably won't be going anywhere for a while. I still think nitro may be better for vehicles this size. A receiver pack is going to last a while so as long as you can keep your truck in one piece, in tune and have fuel you can run all day.

I already have a 1/8 brushless system in it. On the right side of that youtube page, in the info section, I listed pretty much everything on this truck including the Mamba Monster and Medusa 36-60 2000kv motor that I run with 2 packs in series (12 cells or 4s lipo).

I don't have any money to spend and where this truck runs fine (tho could be better) I have a few others that could use the attention first. When I can afford parts, I may look into a tranny from a new E-Maxx and a single-motor mount. Tho I'd probably get some various sized pinions first and see what can be done by changing the gearing.

Gonna try a lower tooth pinion and strap a fan to the heatsink n see if that does anything.

I'm also thinking of selling the Medusa and/or Mamba Monster and 'downgrading' to Kershaw 700's. I'll either use the Mamba Monster or look into a waterproof EVX-2, maybe try to buy back the original EVX I sold to someone who didn't end up using it. Instead of buying the Kershaw overdrive gearing, I think I'm gonna try to continue to use the Robinson Racing double disc slipper and get some pinions to compensate for the 6 teeth my spur has over the Kershaw overdrive spur.

If that still doesn't work for me... I'm gonna sell the truck, wheels/tires and all the parts I have for it.

wow, i just picked-up a modded single speed emaxx roller though and still looking for an esc/'motor combo for it. if your MMM is V2 send it to CC for the V3 upgrade.

Yeah, I don't really spend too much time there. Signed on yesterday and today for the first time in like a month. Registered today on a South Florida based drift forum. Trying to find some local people to meet up and drift with but seems like everyone is in Orlando, Tampa, West Palm or Miami... I'm kinda in the middle of all that but the closest (west palm) is an hour away and my license is suspended for the next two years.

It's not the easiest truck to haul around on a bicycle and I don't really have anywhere close by that's dirt to run RC's. I'm beginning to think running this truck on Nimh's is damaging the packs, trying to push the power the MMM is drawing. I bought a new pair of lipos when I upgraded but ruined one, so now I have 3 lipos. It's kinda dumb to haul a 14lb truck somewhere to drive it for maybe 20 minutes. Yeah, could re-charge the batteries but without a car battery I'd have to find an outlet and I only have one balancer.

I'd have more fun, bash longer and an easier time hauling around one of my single-pack RC's. My Rustler and Slash are both faster than my E-Maxx and I can run every pack I have in them.

Out of the 10 RC's I currently in possession of... I have more fun and get more use out of my Wheely King. It's by far not my fastest RC and doesn't jump well anymore since I stretched it but kinda what keeps it from breaking. Just driving it around, over and through stuff is more fun that sailing my Rustler or Slash through the air or flinging dirt everywhere. All that stuff is fun but is rough on the trucks, parts, gears... everything.
