Hamster Power Racing RC
Well I ended up going through a bunch of stuff with the ex-wife, her car in my name, blowing up the engine, not paying payments, blah blah... anyways, figured since I was stuck with a Chevy Cobalt I didn't want and a payment since no one would buy it, I would trade up
So I went to the Yamaha shop and got rid of the cursed thing.
(On a side note, the day after I got mine my cousin wanted to see if he could get one too, so we go to the Yamaha shop and start paperwork on a new 2011 V-Star Custom 650 for him, after we leave his other brother that lives with me was talking to me and decided to go in the same day and bought a 2007 Yamaha FZ6, then we went back for the V-Star for the other brother lol... yesterday their dad went in and tried to get one too. Needless to say, the shop wants to put me on payroll lol)
Ended up with a 2008 Yamaha V-Star Custom 650 with 3613 miles on it, looks like brand new, completely stock midnight black edition. First thing I did was ride it of course, but shortly after I took the pipes off to a machine shop where my cousin works and had him cut the exhaust tips off to get rid of 1 1/2 baffle plates and a baffle. Much better, still not loud enough but louder than the video shows. Bought a windshield from Memphis Shades, got some hand-me-down saddle bags from my mom, etc. hunting down sissy bar brackets right now. Have new rear turn signals on the way so that I can relocate them to the rear reflector spot so the saddle bags will fit. Have plans for a hypercharger and Cobra drag pipes down the road, but for now I just want to be comfortable so a gel/memory foam seat will probably be coming soon so my back doesn't hurt so much after 5 minutes on the thing lol. Hope you like, ill get better pics of the exhaust on the bike later if I can, going camping for a couple days so im going to miss it...
My Stepdad behind us trying to mess with stuff lol, he owns the same bike but extremely customized and a 2002 model. My mom has a 98? V-Star Classic 650
Before
After
Stock exhaust (my 4 year old is recording so kinda shaky, but not as bad as some of my dad's videos LOL)
