I didnt really realize it was before you took over the site anyways, Will might be able to do something unless he gave you the password and stuff for the Lunarpages account... Hopefully one of you can get it figured out because it almost made me go over the limit lol...

should not be anything there, we resigned the accounts
Contact your credit card company and tell them it was unauthorized and they should look into it and refund you. Call, don't e-mail.

I logged into the account to see what was going on...

Although the email was showing as mine all the contact into was still showing Mikes. I updated everything accordingly, made sure all credit cards were removed from their billing system. I have decided that we will keep the RCMT.BIZ domain and just forward it here. I am in the process of now moving it to my GoDaddy account where I am centalizing all my domains.

Well im Nick not Mike, but he did have stuff in his name too. I filed a complaint and fraudulent charge against them through my credit card company and blocked them from future transactions.

Both of these domains are available... I will consider grabbing them over the weekend due to their names and close proximity to this site. Unfortunatly the other RCMT addys are taken.

I believe some sort of deal was arranged between Matt H. the originator of RCMT and RCM Technologies for the other rcmt domains back in 1999. At one time we had a few others.

Can you possibly do a quick write up at some point out lining the history of RCMT so I can put it up online. It think it is important to give credit to those in the past and give the background of the site.

Also what other domains were there? Might be interested in trying to grab those as well.

Mike Eckenrode could give a better idea about the earliest time.

I came on when RCMT first opened on it's own, about a month into it I registered.
Matt H started RCMT sometime in late 1997 to beginning of 1998 breaking away from another forum where monster trucks were just a sub category.

I was looking for updated steering for my ESP Clod and found RCMT very friendly and helpful. Not long after the original Juggernaut was released and I posted the first videos of it online. It took 2 gear sets to make. Traded it for a used USA-1 because at the time it was popular here and had huge aftermarket support here on RCMT.

Things were going well here for a few years, but then we had a server issue and went to EZBoard and membership started dwindling and splitting off to smaller specific webpages. I took over in April of 2006 until Aug 2011. My first ''mission'' was to get us off EZ and onto a server we had more control of. That happened May 2006. I had our first fund raising raffle in June 2006. A red Tamiya Hilux in cherry shape and a coveted truck at the time.

Looking back seems stupid now always looking for a cheap host server, they always let us down after the first year was up. That is where all the alternate domains come in, testing and moving while allowing what we had stay in service.

That's about all I can give on the server and ownership side.
