i have a few questions

could you tell me the length of your frame and then the distance axle to axle the width of frame and whats the width of axles..I see that most pullers have a big gear and then a small gear than another big gear ,,why you can't just have 1 big gear on axle and then your gear on your motor need all the help i can get i'm going to build my first puller...

you are going to need about 30-40 to one on the 2wd dirt puller and about 90 to 100 to one on the carpet puller you will not get that out of one gear drop you will need 2 or 3 to get kind of ratio....garden tractors use one gear drop a 96 on the axle and a 6 tooth on the motor that will work....(that is what i am using on garden tractor)

100 - 120:1 for carpet is what it takes and a light as possible chassis to allow for weight distribution in the lighter weight classes.
