Great looking machines. I especially like the turbine power. What brand turbines are you using and how much fuel does it use for a pull?

Thank-you

it uses 80cc kerosine mixed with oil for one run.
there is no brand , i made everything by my self.

Hi Frank and martin,

Just curious, but did you change the specs on your pullers (like max. weight, hitch hight and gearing), or do you think your pullers will be competitive in the European setup?

That Frema's Toy puller is simply amazing. I cannot believe how cool that is and coupled with the fact you built your own turbines.. WOW.

Till know we changed nothing and will drive like here in Europe. We want to look at the track condition first. We can drive either wet or dry track and make some adjustments like hitch height and tire pressure, hang some weight to the front and back or also add some weight when its necessary.

The bigest difference is the chain lenght from the sledge, its 8" in US we have only 4". All our pullers have much weight in the front, so we have to look what we can do to get a good ballance.

We are even curious as you guys are, and dont know how the runs will be.

Only 3 more weeks and we are flying.

Well, I'd like to wish you guys the best of luck. It will be really interesting to see how the European-style pullers will fare against their American counterparts on their homeground.
Sadly, I won't be able to make it to the Worlds to experience it myself, but someday I hope to tread in your footsteps!

Thank you for the compliments.
yep , thats the only way for me to run with turbines, else it is to expensive for me.
if i can build everything except the bearings and compressor wheels , it will lower costs for me ,and i realy enjoy it when i have a victory with it.

Regards,

Martin.

Those homemade tractors/turbines are winners regardless of how the competition turns out. They are some of the most impressive rc vehicles that I have ever seen. I only wish I could go to the Worlds and see them run. Make sure someone takes plenty of videos.
