...for sure Joe, I have no idea who's coming.... I just love these tractors:)
pictured in order are (I think!):
1) Heat
2) Rijn Fire
3) Child's Play
4) The Ultimate
5) Frema's Toy
6) Micro Popeye
7) Knorretje

....don't ask me to pronounce some of those names....
I think all three turbines are owned by the same guy!

Frank Gijsen, who posted earlier owns "Knorretje" which I believe is "Piglet" the character from "Winnie the Pooh"

More info

I have not the option in my editor to make attachments. So till now i can't drop some images. :-( I dont know if i have to ask to put it on??

The next pullers are comming:

Heat, modified
Die Hard, modified
The Italian Job, 2 wheel drive
Lambada, modified
Turning me loose. Superstock
Hurricane. Superstock
Knorretje. Modified
Cool Running. Modified
Blue Diamont. Modified

For example:
The Cool Running runs about 125 km/h
The heat about 100 km/h
Knorretje about 115 km/h
Hurricane about 107 km/h
The italian job about 120 km/h

Yes they are all prety fast. Our track from start till full pull is 15 mtr say 50 foot. The width is 2,5 mtr say 8 foot. Uuuhmm so we have to brake little earlyer in USA:tong In the pull off in the heavyest class we pull about 70 pounds. We dont know how its gonna work out on the track in USA. We will see.

When i have permission to puts pics you will get it.

Tires

I was looking at the pictures form the pullers from USA. I saw that many people use the Traxtor XL Pulling tires. I think that with low speeds they work fine, but with the Dutch pullers they dont work out.
I have 4 new unused sets i dont use and want to trade them against 4 sets new unused Kyosho 66/43*25 (Kyosho MA027). Just send a e-mail to [email protected]

So i was wondering also, we drive mostly with the above ment Kyosho tires some people with the Juggernaut's. Where are you people mostly driving with and what are the experiences?
Do you guys also "cut" the tires?

I use Kyosho tires I am also trying the Traxtor tires on my insane some times they work and sometimes they don't...... I cut my tires ....I'm pretty good at that

Frank, for the most part we are running the USA-1 and clodbuster tires. A few are running the RC4WD tire and a few are running Jugg tires. In my opinion it is hard to beat a set of USA-! tires on both carpet and dirt. The rubber is the right compound to friction traction and when you cut them the edge holds real well. I have about 8 pair of used, but uncut USA-1s sitting in my shop. I need a couple more pullers so I have something to run them on LOL!!!

Depending on how packed your tracks are at home you may want to gear them down for ours. All of our tracks are pretty hard and packed pretty tight. Plus like you said our tracks are shorter and narrower. Any way that we can help just let us know.

I am SUPER excited to meet you guys see these pullers in action. I have spent countless hours drooling over pictures of your creations and hoping to see them run some day. It appears that day will become a reality in about a month :D

The turbine guy says Hello

Hello Everybody.

My name is Martin , and i am new at this forum.

Yes , i am the Turbine guy from the Netherlands.

i am looking forward to meet you all at the world champion ships .

I seems i can not post pictures , but if somebody can help me with that?

I am the builder and owner of the Heat , Childs play , and the Frema's Toy.
the last one is difficult because of his two very small engines ,the size of a coffee cup.
I hope everything will go well with the turbine, i never ran on that kind of tracks ,and also have to learn a bitt with the sledge .

Its a very big step for me to come to Ohio.
i never flown , and i never went on holiday ,for me its all new and a very big experience .

we will see what happens.

Martin.
