the WK slipper will fail, maybe not right away but you'll want to weither get some aftermarket transmition "guts" or at least do the sli[pper fix. A quick search of the WK forum will show the fix, plus the trucks weak points.

Sorry to contradict (and probably be of no help..) but I am running both locked diffs with a 19x2 motor and have been for a good few months - had no problems with the slipper at all. Yes, I do drive my WK hard...

Another weak point when running major horsepower is the ring/pinion slop. After pulverizing a few, I've been doubling the number of shims behind the ring gear to get a tighter mesh. So far, it seems to be holding up pretty well. I'm running a Novak 8.5 brushless in mine, although it's geared more for torque than speed.

You should take it on the sand Troy and do a tug of war with your friends Pede and film it!

We plan on a good offroad outing this weekend, hopefully some good action shots. The pede would lose big time, but his TLT rig could probably pull a full grown adult around in a wagon...it's a torque monster! He drove it up against my fullsize GMC 3/4 ton van and actually made it move a little, YIKES!
