"Best" upgrade connectors?

I am looking to upgrade all my connectors since i am finally moving up to Lipo.

Now the word best implies certain traits but I guess what I am specifically looking for is:
Easy to solder - I have very limited experience and equipment in this area
Readily found / easy to get - online is ok

I know of Deans, Traxxas, and EC6 (I think?). Anything else out there worth discussing?

I run all deans. I just picked up 20 male/female with shrink wrap off ebay. $20 bucks shipped to my door. Thats a buck a pair. Great deal if you ask me. Plus the deans are much easier to solder compared to the traxxas ones....

I've been running the red-black powerpole/anderson/duratrax connectors for years, still going strong. http://www.duratrax.com/caraccys/dtxc2300.html

Very easy to solder as you can slip the wire into the metal part of the connector before you start heating it and you can't melt them because you pop the metal part into the plastic part after soldering.

knock off deans, but they work great...integrate perfectly with genuine deans connectors as well...some people report that they cant handle the heat when soldering too well (the plastic tends to melt a little and the metal part then gets misaligned), but with a good iron, you dont need to heat them up as much...

also, i found out if you connect the male and female pair together while soldering, the tabs on the opposite side stay in place even though they get heated...so the melting complaint becomes a moot point...

i never had any fail or melt on me during use...just a little care while soldering, and you've got them at a fraction of the price...

they used to sell for a little over $3 before, but i guess more people found out about it, so now the price is increased...but still cheap...

Deans all the way. I bought some of the knock off ones years ago also and they are still holding up great. They're pretty much exactly the same thing as the real Deans.
