How 'bout one of these threads too :tmb
One of the best things in RC is to finally become competitive in a class after working at it for a long time. I also love assembling kits.
I noticed in the other thread that some of you have problems with your LHS.
I have what I believe is the best LHS in the country!
The HobbyTown HobbyPLEX in Omaha.
They have carpet racing, oval racing, offroad racing (soon to be enclosed and run year round) and rock crawling (indoors and out). They will get in anything that you ask for. When I started racing, I was running a Sprint 2. They didn't stock parts for it when I started, but they used my broken parts as a list of what they should stock. The parts are now hanging on the wall. They ask for our opinions about new items that they should stock. They also have great prices. They are often cheaper than ordering online.
