hello everybody

this is my 1st time on this site.i figure i share a semi crawler im building

plans are

tamiya benz semi
2.2 wheels and tires
extended cab 3 inches
rear cab exhaust
dual steering
quad axle
all wheel steering
crab walk
brushless
rc4wd tranny
workign winches
mfu system
maybe a boom/crane
etc

enjoy the build !!!


ok started with the cab,have to cut the back off and extend it 3 inches.need all the room i can get.

First, Welcome aboard :)

That's comming along very nice, you have some excellent modeling skills. I don't envy you replicating the roof ribbing though :ack unless you have other plans?

i finished the roof and prefit the exhaust.time to drill all the wholes before finishing the body work

this is not the light bar im using

ok i finish the body work

cut the rails

prefitted the tranny

i used the semi suspension for the front and rear

but!!! i used the f350 spring for length and tierod for the links

also used the semi shocks

was looking for a very soft suspension


the front tires and rims came in lookin very good now,

now im waiting on rc4wd tranny,shafts and more tires and rims

If you can get some video when you try it out, the suspension articulating should look really cool.

ok everybody sorry for the delay.really busy here

imso use to making semis here.have to get in crawler mind

i took the semi shock off not enough travel

so i went with tlt1 shocks . also was able to start on the rear axles

that's looking pretty wild, and it's going to be long too :)

Great fabrication of all the suspension linkages, I think I'd have been lost. :tong

ok i worked more on the rear today .was able to install suspension,shocks and steering

if you notice in the rear axle i have a output shaft , hint!

today i started to install rear hitch,rear steering .a couple of those tank rings would be nice.im going to build a light in the rear cross member to

no turn signals on this baby!!!!
