Battery!!

can i run a 1000mah ni-cd 9.6v battery from a walmart truck in my clod?? it has a 14.4v evx esc i have it set up for 1 battery can i use it??

im not sure if it will work, but what kind of motors are you running? i ran a radio shack 9.6v battery pack in my stock clod once, and after five minutes, the battery was very hot to the touch.

im running monster maxx motors

i think at most you will only get a few min out of it and will not have much speed .
with the evx you will only be getting half the voltage to each motor(4.8V)
