I stopped in this morning at the local welding shop . I picked up some tube and some flat plate . I pulled out the welder and fabbed up a rear bumper .


Nothing like a 5" tube bumper on the rear of a rig .

Thanks , I'm glad all you guys like it . It has been a fun build that didn't cost alot of bones . I have just over $130.00 into out of pocket . The rest I trade for or it came out of the parts box . Don't get me wrong if I added up the total cost it wouldbe much more .

I found a gun rack @ the junkyard this morning . Got it mounted up and hung my 270 . I got to get over to the farm and get my cow stick also .

Well I got around to doing some work on the front bumper .

I add more side depth to the bumper .




Also got the winch in today .

Made some steel hanger for the shackles . Also did some weathering on the bumper as well .

Talking about weathering I need to get the rear bumper painted . It is starting to rust up . LOL


I also adjusted the stance some .

I got my tag plate in from the DMV this morning . I spent the extra bones and got the wildlife plate .

Lol? Is that a walkin stick under the rifle? Since when can you fire a rifle and hold yourself up with a walkin stick? Or is it to beat the crap out the deer when you shoot him?

I got around to spooling the winch up today . I also dabbed some paint on a old rusty hook I had laying around .








The cable on the winch is 49 strand Beadalon. I put 8 feet on the winch and there was room for more .

I got a few goodies in Yesterday for Rednaked .
AX30200 super soft springs
AX30205 super soft springs
This helped he SCX10 shocks alot . The rig is not as stiff as it was .
I also got a new DX3E for it . I have been wanting to try one out . It did blow the budge I had for this build ,but that is ok . I hope to get back to work on the build this week . I got to finish it up before the 28th , So pops can run it at your GTG .

Good ol RedNaked did a fine job on its first real outing . My dad ran it and all I heard was he is driving it like he stole it . Man he is really using that old quad , he has the small block strokin' . lol here is some pic
