Well I just placed an order for new axles, tube braces, TTR CVD and straight axles, and TTR Ball diffs. I also have 4 new sets of CRP wheels, and an EBR chassis. I've been out of the clod game for a while but since I will be moving closer to the races I wanted to build a new truck.

I just need to get ahold of Bari quick to see if I can get a chassis. I dont know how long my EBR will last..:).

If you plan to race on carpet I'd advise using the stock clod diffs over the TTR ball diffs. While the TTR units save gears and acts as a "slipper" they just do not turn as well or launch as hard as the stock plastic diff.

Thx for the advise. I definitely need all that I can get. I havent raced clods before just bashed or built them.

You Can make a ball diff launch as hard as a stock diff,
You just have to tighten them down..
But running them that tight, and with alot of power results in wheelies, so I let mine slip a touch.

But don't set them up as the directions say, they need to be so much tighter,
Lots, of folks gave up on them because of following the recommended set-up..

Some times you may pull the gearcases apart 10 times to set it for the condition you will run, but you have the ability to do just that..

Thanks Mike,

I will be moving to Central Missiori so I will be just a couple hours from the Illinois races

Cool, I see. You'll enjoy Clod racing if you're new to it. There's always something to improve when you get into racing. That is part of what makes it so much fun for me.......always trying to solve the racing setup mysteries of the Clod LOL!!!!
