I just saw some b&h monster truck tires on ebay that rc4wd are selling and my question is has anyone used these tires and if so can you tell me how good they are, I mean are they worth buying? They fit the clod.

They have potential but for the most part are a botched design.

They are way too big to run on most any clod without some really substantial wheel wideners and they still just don't look right. Add to that the tread cleats are way too tall and wide at the base and you have a tire that isn't much use in its stock form.

The compound of them is really nice and grippy so with a whole lot of grinding with a belt sander to take the tread down to a reasonable height you can have a really nice set of tires but half the point of making a tire like that was too eliminate the need to spend hours modding tires. Really a shame they came out the way they did.

a botched design is right! they should have looked just like a cut kyosho usa-1 tire but this is what they came out with :bang

I have no doubt they will probably grip well but thats not the issue.

They are no lighter than a stock clod tire, in fact Im sure they are heavier and they are just stupidly large looking on most trucks and the tread cleats are wayyy too tall and wide.

I have what I think is the only set that has been shaved, and they look awesome. They ran very well on carpet also.
Before I ran them on carpet I tested for rc4wd on grass/dirt and they had good grip. The problem as stated above is the sheer size and weight of the tire with full cleats.

You ever get those finished up? I'd like to see the final product even if it was just one tire.:tmb
