^^^ Yea. it was funny because in the video you can see the wheel spinning away from the truck before it hits the ground. Im not sure how it happened, but the barrel nut and washer ended up right next to the tire. ;-) I have longer barrel nuts on the way.

Thank you for the compliments. :)

When I bought the used clod tires, they came with 1 inch aluminum widening hubs(the old school chunk of aluminum type). I didnt want a full inch so I actually cut them in half and smoothed them out so now I have eight 1/2 inch wideners. :)

That's AWESOME :tmb

Think maybe a sway bar or set of sway bars will help the chassis torquing over instead of super stiff springs??
I think that would be the best. But when I made the chassis I didnt make any provisions for a sway bar. Im going to have to look at the chassis and see where I can mount one up, atleast a rear sway bar anyways. I think Im going to use 1/8 scale sway bar type rod ends when I end up doing it :tmb
Like these sway bar rod ends

Well the longer barrel nuts showed up today from Junfac. They got here alot quicker than I expected. The looked to be about an 1/8th of an inch too long. So I added a couple washers which when on top of the fake bolts on the clod wheel worked well. Then thought I might try to imitate a planetary with the washers. What do you guys think? I liked the second one :tmb

Well, heres my attempt at sway bars. I think they seem to work pretty well. I installed the rear bar and it made a big difference. It doesnt have a whole lot of leverage being attatched that close to the center of the axle. But, being mounted farther out made for some geometry problems. :tmb

Awesome build! What spacers and clod wheel parts did you use to mount your wheels? I'm wanting to add some clod wheels to my Wheely King. Anyway, awesome job on your Avenger. Keep the updates coming. :tmb

Your truck continues to impress! Really nice job on it so far. I can't believe you are keeping axle housings under it. When I had my Wheely setup with Clod tires any one of those front axle landings would have equaled a parts order for a new housing... I think I probably replaced 7 or 8 of them. :bang
