AE getting in is big, and with no window cutout many are thinking electric :tmb
I found this on scale4x4rc.org.... Look at the circled areas. The person who posted it says you can see the cooling head and fuel tank. I'm not sure I'm completely convinced but... If anything I think the wheel nut design is what is making me believe its a nitro. Look at all of AE's electrics, they're all using a solid stub axle, but on the other hand the RC8/RC8T (which this is likely based off of) are using hollow axles.

I think it's a nitro to compete with the traxxas slayer...you should see the guy's on traxxas boards all they do is bash it ..to me it looks way better than the slash.... guys on traxxas board wished the slash had roll bars...now they see the associated and they make fun of it saying it looks like a radio shack toy....Man those guy's on traxxas are really screwy!

:tmbAssociated will be the one to slay the slayer to death!!!!
:droolI always loved associated can't you tell:tong

New pics!!! Check out the new paint schemes and mud flaps. Also note the lack of windows. In scale terms this thing puts the Slayer/Slash to shame. Can't wait to hear the specs.

The black ones are cool looking.

The mudflaps are a nice touch.

If it were electric I might be excited about it. I still like my Slash tho.

I keep coming back and looking at the latest pictures posted of these AE trucks... and I must admit I like it's style.
Mostly because of the black bodies.

I haven't personally seen a fuel-motor vehicle, but from the videos I've seen the sound can get quite annoying. I've also read that maintenance and tuning fuel motors can be quite a pain.
But with the right battery and motor setup, electric are much faster.

I still really like my Slash, it did open up things for CORR RC, but I would very much like to see some video of these AE trucks.

Since I already own a Slash and not a huge fan of nitro-noise, for $700... I'd rather buy that F-350 from Mountymaxx

it will drop, tower always has stuff high then drops the pric when it arrives.

Look for it to end up possibly 450-500 I doubt any lower though

It's expensive because it is there 1/8th buggy chassis and there buggy is like one of the best 1/8th buggies out to date... the radio is much better than a traxxas...On another note don't think traxxas will be stronger as i have 1/8th nitro buggies and they are as strong as strong gets..
