oh man
your very meticulous, all those little notches to fit the wheels together, I salute you because I'd never finish it.
Thank you Will. IDK, some of it was pretty tedious, but the wheels came-out better than I had expected IMHO.
Like the swaybars, great job. :tmb
Thanks again sir. Made them out of parts I had on hand.
i'm with Will that is definitely some serious wheel modifications ! great job !! hey i'd like to see some more pic's of that juggy you have looks sweet from the rear end
Thanks Dominick. I only have a couple of pics of the OG Jugg, but I will share what I have with you.
I have a few more things to update and share with you guys. Let's see what I'm working on now.
Okay, so I had these tires I wanted to use and the lettering made them look pretty toy-ish, so it had to go. I used a sanding drum on my dremel and gently removed the offending part of the side-wall, then smoothed the entire side-wall surface flat.
Now, rims are complete, sway-bars are fabricated and installed, tires are modified and in-place, but there's something else that needs to be modified... the roll bar.
When I received the roll bar in the mail, the nice mail carrier saw fit to snap the NIP part into three pieces so it would fit neatly into my mailbox. :frusty: Oh well. So I take all the fragments and glue them back together, then stripped the off the crome plating using Castrol Super-Clean. After gluing and stripping the roll bar, I decided to cut 3mm off the legs so the roll bar would sit a bit lower.
It is a small modification, but now the roll bar and the roof of the cab are more in-line with each other. I left the roll bar lights chromed and installed them to get an overall view of what I was now working with.
Thanks for taking a look.
