Anybody looking for good batteries?

Since Jetpack is in limbo and I wanted a better pack than what I've been using I decided to check out RC Demon batteries.

Let me just say I'll be getting another when funds allow, I am better than impressed with the 7 cell I bought.

I recieved the battery on Monday, charged it up Tuesday and took it outside with my vxl traxxas bandit. I had put TLT tires on the back of my bandit to save the spikes it came with.

Well the tires were glued, but not anymore it blew them off. The tires grow so much when I hit full throttle it gets squirly on pavement.
And RC Demon wanted me to go 9 cells!!!

Bandit was fast before, it's stupid fast now.

Thanks Chris, this is fun!!

I came across an ad for their batteries at a WMB race at RC Alley. They have good pricing for their packs. I haven't bought any from them as mine have yet to expire....well that excludes the pack i had in my pulling truck. I even cycled it 3 times put it in my VXL Rustler and doesnt even compare to the 6 cell sprt pack i use to mess around with at the LHS. So with your advice; i will scoop up a 7 cell from them as long as i can get it in a flat configuration; otherwise i will have to let the frame sit out in the sun for a few hours lol

Yes, he can do flats, stick and sidexside. Actually that's what he wanted me to get but I opted for a hump sidexside so it fits my other rigs

the battery has really been great, by the 6th or 7th charge I can really notice it broke in and has been awesome. Much more punch and run time than a stick pack, it's like a whole new truck with this one.

Do you know if they sell loose cells? I have some trucks that need battery packs built specifically for their chassis
