I pulled the rechargables out earlier in the day and put four Duracells in and the voltage was 6.8 V at first. But tonight it dropped down to 5.9 and a little less while it was sitting on the desk while i was posting here. This truck is just like being on a mushroom farm with a complete mystery yet to be solved LOL. Next on UNSOLVED-MYSTERIES LOL.... Rechargeable Alkaline Energizers sit between 5.6 to 5.7 v. The problem with LCD screens they use up power in a short time with regular Duracells. Honestly I don't know what is wrong. I simply can say.. that I don't know what to do but maybe test the voltage on the battery pack with a voltage tester and see if it is charging proper. I think today I'm going to try to reset everything by unpluging esc and servos from the receiver and check and see if the battery pack is putting out enough power with a voltage testor. I may end up taking it into a Authorized dealer called Twisted Throttle Hobbies that's not far from me. okay!! I just finished checking the voltage on the pack and it say's 7.95 DVC. So I'm a bit skeptical if this is normal or not. I told my father and he said that's good. So I don't know if it's me that caused the problem becoz I was touching the settings on the transmitter as I was trying trim out the front steering. I hope Brett can help me out!! becoz I'm lost in this.I pulled the rechargables out earlier in the day and put four Duracells in and the voltage was 6.8 V at first. I have not tried any other battery packs becoz this is the only one I have with this particular red connector. I have no other charger for this particular pack either. Other than the over night wall Charger they supply. But even at that I can't plug that in over night becoz the battery gets pretty warm after three hours or more. I plugged it back in the charger a few minutes ago with no shame this time round. I just checked just now and the pack is still cool to the touch after plugging it in two hours ago so I don't know if the pack is going through it's first cycle or what.Have you tried any of your other battery packs?
Or charged the supplied GP battery pack with something other than the over night wall charger?
