Well now that I have opened up some free time in my life, I have started on a couple of projects I have. The main one is getting the big big 1/6th Silverado up and going but it's getting a little frustrating. I decided to start my little paint project with the Isuzu Mu I bought from a member here. I don't have any huge plans for aside from fresh paint and new lights, and then running it around some of the local dirt pits. That all I have for now.
Couple pics:
Getting there... Victory Red by Dupli-Color, base coat/clear coat system. Black semi-gloss bumpers by Rust-o-leum. Still have the details to paint in, light buckets, marker lights, tails, and trim.
I think I'm going to put a set of the five spoke Tamiya wheels on, and a few decals to represent RCMT and Tamiya. I went with red/black combination to kind of suggest the influence from the 1990s model Chevrolet full size Blazer/Tahoe sport package.
