Well lets see I have tried to get a pic of my various rides in the mags since before their was internet, computers so I was blowing $$ on film, developing and stamps and never did they take one. Lets just say I sent many many photos in and I swear mine were better then some ive seen posted, yea I might be biased but I know a good pic when I see it.
Anyways sent a round of pics of my hotshot when I was at the beach with it to all the mags probaly 3 months ago or better. Went the mailbox and their was a rc car in there and I was hmm I shouldnt be getting a mag, not subscribed. So my mind kicked in about then and I scrambled to the readers rides expecting nothing but there she was my girl spewing the sand, brought a tear to my eye :willy:D

Congrats!! doesnt that just get you all excited when you see your model in a magazine?

took me a while too; and the one i have in a magazine was one i built for a guy at work!!

Hey thats cool Jason....I am suprised after 24 years in the hobby that I never tried. Although I was so fortunate to get my kong truck in the mags through Parmas ads a few times and from some worlds coverage one year. I remember getting so excited when I was like 13 I got my letter published in Off road magazine....Oh boy that was like 25 years ago. WOW

Haha yea its been awhile for us heh Eric? Were the same age. Its alot easier to try now tho, just email the pic and wait. I have all the links to 3 mags I sent that pic to, so you now know my favorite mag :tmb

Thats awesome!

RCCA once published one of my pit tips and I got a six month subscription for it. I was actually told that two of my pit tips would be used but only one was. When I contacted the dude from RCCA to ask about why the second one was never used he never got back to me....as you can see RCCA cares about their readers. :ack I've actually got other pit tips that I come up with from time to time but they only give out decals now so it isn't worth my time.

thats about true now days. Seems all your looking at is a traxxas catalog, guess whos paying them alot of money :reye
Used to be a good magazine back when I was younger, if I recall I think alot of the main guys left and started the other magazines out there now dont remember which one, rc car or rc driver.

Thats great! I have been trying to get my rc's in a mag with no success. If I follow in your footsteps I only have 15 more years of trying LOL
