So I have spent two days trying to figure out why I can't attach pics to a thread... I go to attach the file, then browse the pic I want and go to download. The little spinning circle starts like it is downloading and then...............NOTHING! So I beat my head into the wall on that until I surrender and decide to do what none of us RC types ever do, look around for instructions in case I am missing something. No dice there. So then I remember something about a "help ticket" being discussed. Find that, spend 10 minutes typing out my problem (yes, my typing skills are like lightening:D), only to hit submit and have some stupid message pop up about how I dont have access to that page! WHAT FLIPPEN PAGE I JUST WANT TO SUBMIT A HELP TICKET!!!! Then the voices in my head start, "Hello, this Peggy" :p

Use something like Photobucket. Don't think I've ever had an issue, and some pics are going on 6-7 years old...

Thanks for the quick replies fellas! So I know the gallery is out of comission and it sounds like we can't upload a pic straight to the site either/ It gives the impression that you should be able to cause it refers to the image being deleted in 30 minutes if not used?! I really dont feel like messing with a photobucket account.....

OP - I thought about the size so I resized them all small but still no waffle.

I'd suggest tinypic.com it's the simplest way to upload a pic, and it's what I use all the time.

I used to use tinypic.com all the time. I stopped though because if you ever want to go back and find a pic you uploaded you can't because you don't have an account. You could just re-upload it every time I guess.

I also don't like to upload or attach to rcmt because if it crashes again or gets hacked or whatever they might get lost.

Now I use photobucket. I have an account I used to post pics here. It's free and easy and you can upload multiple pics at once. All you uploads are saved in your account so you can go back and see them all.

Just my preference.

I use photobucket !!Its the best ,you can send the picture via text message to photobucket or upload from your pc!!,and all your albums can be viewed later. One more thing if you delete photos from your album, the build thread the photos were used in will lose their pics too!!

take the few min and get a photobucket account ..... its so much easier and i like having control over my pics just in case another crash happens you still have them

i've used it for many years without a glitch :)

So the irony is that on the RCMT homepage right now is the picture of the Savage from when it was in the classifieds. It is the same picture I have been trying to import into the new thread I started in the B/S/T!!!!

use this link: http://www.imageshack.com/

you can upload the pics one by one and it will give you the url to copy and paste, you don't need to sign up or anything and after you cancel the page imageshack will keep the link alive automatically without you having to save anything

This is what I use too. Very easy to use. You can create an account in two steps and upload to your hearts content.

I had the exact same issue happen to me last night. Get a error I cant upload images, go to help desk, start a new ticket..says I dont have permission.. Went to live support...nobody online...

Sent Steven a pm. Last thing to do...dont want to bug him, but what are you to do...

It seems that if the stuff is currently not usable, then hide them or have dead links for them. Nothing worse than spending alot of time on something that wont work at all...

Why cant I put an image in my signature????
