I think we will use the following rules:
1 Must have RCMT.net decal(s) displayed in photo
2 we'll let the max of 10 enteries in
3 Must be a RCMT, ie like the regular ROM no sedans ext.
4 Must be RTR with radio esc everything
Multiple prizes, most votes gets first pick, then second and so on
And leave it close to that, too many rules or to many ''contests'' will just confuse and frustrate the members. Rule 3, RCMT radio controlled monster truck will ensure a truck and no lowriders, buggies or stadiums. And I'll take care of that part during the entry phase by the delete key.
Basically what I am referring to are trucks that were marketed as MTs and have oversized tires of a chevron (aka V) tread design. Like a real MT has.
Nothing person here Hacker, you posted the pics as examples, I am going to use them as examples to explain my opinion of an MT.
The highlift, No. Why?, it's a lifted street truck. ya the tires are big, but it does not resemble an MT. put on some wheely king tires, then ya, better yet adapt clod or juggy tires.
The muddy bronco, Yes. Why?, well it's more of an MT than the crawler. Huge V tread tires and a monster platform. Though it may be your crawler, it resembles an MT more so than the typical crawlers you see everywhere. see this link for what is considered crawlers.

The old Traxxas truck (sledgehammer I believe?) Yes. Why? It was marketed as an MT and boasts the chevron tires. sure it's only 2wd, but it was sold as an MT.
The lil PTI guy, Yes. Why? Well even though it's small in size, it's very much like a real MT, solid axles and oversized chevron tires. This would fall right into the spot as the TLT. even though they both are small, both were marketed as MTs and actually resemble a real MT.
R/Cpullerdude, that is a pretty good idea there.
Or since people don't like the idea of pedes and other 2wd MTs, lets just make it like "must be 4x4, must have oversized chevron treads, must resemble a real MT" That would take care of the lifted stadium trucks. But would also still exclude TLT tires on a highlift, but yet allow TLT tires on a stock like TLT.
Id got with a minimum tire size of 10-12th scale trucks being 2.2s with 5" tires, 8th scale 2.2s with 6" tires.
