we should have a seperate "readers rides" contest of all the trucks with the rcmt decals.

maybe we could get some donated prizes from members. i would be willing to donate some used items that are in good shape. just something for fun ?


Prizes will go to the winners in order, first place winner gets first choice and so on. Since therevare 4 prizes the top 4. Anyone else if you want some RCMT windshield decals shoot me an e-mail.

The 4 prizes to choose from, first 2 are from me, the others thank you Twisted and Tom!!

or if you'd like it seperate we could do that to, I know I could probably find some ''lightly used'' maybe even new parts to kick in.

While on the topic of ROM, I have a suggestion/idea. A Dodge/Cummins forum I go to also has a ROM. Only in theirs, all photo's must adhere to a spicific theme, such as pulling, mudding, smoke, something like that. Just something to ponder.

Well, the RCMT decal idea is a pretty good start.

So, are you guys up for it, lets get some ideas... Let me know on these rules


1 Must have RCMT decal displayed in photo
2 we'll let the max of 10 enteries in
3 Must be a RCMT, ie like the regular ROM no sedans ext.
4 Must be RTR with radio esc everything
Multiple prizes, most votes gets first pick, then second and so on

Tom , thats a good question.. should we make it a best truck w/ rcmt logo decal or keep it simple with best ride with rcmt decal ?

imo i would think one truck per entry per member would be the best idea.

how about a special "back to it's roots" contest? The truck must be a true to form MT. Clod/txt/jugg, WK, dagger/detonator, mad/twin force, Maxx, Savage, pede, blackfoot, TLT (stock or modded but still MT) lunch box, USA-1 etc.. no crawlers, no highlifts, bruisers, etc unless built and equipped in true MT form and all entries must sport an RCMT decal.

sounds like a good idea but people have different definitions of mts. for myself i dont consider the stampede a monster truck.

another idea is a action shot contests ?? anyone can pose their truck to look nice but how many action shots do you have ?

very true, it's a stadium truck on steriods basicly :rof But it is marketed as an MT. As I see it an MT should 4x4 and solid axles only. But there is a ton Indi suspension trucks out there marketed as MTs such as savage, maxx, detonators, blackfoots etc..

So basicly what I was thinkin was anything marketed as an MT or something converted to MT specs like a highlift that lifted with clod tires so it resembles a real MT.

I have a solution to the leaglity issue. Have Bill pick a board of 4-8 people not entering, and make a temp forum for only them. All entries must go through there first, and they (the board) will qualify them.
