I seen it last night at the hobby shop, the only issue I have seen, is the servo saver will rub on the center drive shaft..
Other than that, it looks to be well done.

Platinum arrived yesterday and looks great. I'm racing my 1/16 tonight, so later this week I will try to get some paint applied and post some pics.

Cool.
Let us know your thoughts.
I'm interested in the Jammin myself. Otherwise the platinum would be it

I have the original 2wd slash. But this 4wd version would be a nice addition for my local track.

I have one, its nice, fast, electrics are waterproofed, but the center drive shaft is open in the front and water and grit gets in there, and around the slipper clutch spring and bearing, i had that bearing seize right up solid, though i did get it running smooth again, removed seals blasted penetrating fluid in there wiggle with pliers, then I filled it with thick grease to help prevent water getting in. I havn't broken mine but my front left axle is bent a bit so the wheel wobbles now, and there have been a lot of breakage stories so far, most are probably related to cold weather making the plastic brittle or uncareful driving, regardless RPM will make signifigantly harder to break replacement parts eventually lol.

The radio is nice, but they skimped not putting even a small lcd screen on it. My friends hate it but i find the tq radios really comfortable.

The front knuckles/castor blocks seem a little too flexible, im going to get the aluminum ones asap.

Honestly, I prefer my Hyper 10sc and I REALLY wanted to like the 4x4 Slash and i do like it, but I think it'll be my basher and the Hyper will be my track truck.

A guy on the traxxas forum posted pics of how he dealt with dirt getting in around the shaft. He wraped the shaft where it goes thru the chassis with electrical tape, building it up to reduce the gap that lets the dirt in, then he put a piece of shrink tube over the tape to seal it all up. It looked really clean and it does the job, I'll be doing the same with mine.

Thats a good idea, i'll probably try that. Also im going to make a wedge of that peice of foam they included for the battery to jam in above the slipper spring next to the motor so crap cant get in there.
