which gear did you buzz the teeth off ... in the gearbox itself?

As for a sq. aluminum tubing style gearbox ... yup ... it would work on what you have pictured. Interesting approach ... the chassis isn't cross braced ... do you have any trouble with the frame rails wanting to twist?

Just took a look at that AX-10 gearbox ... for $62 ... and all metal gears ... looks pretty freaking solid.

What do you think Grady would one of your gearboxes fit ? And if so could you do it for the same price or close ? Id really like to get this truck almost bulletproof and yeah i know thats probably not idealistic or realistic but i just want it as close as possible . I mean this was the trucks 1st run and i know its nothing that Derrick did since its a stock part but basically the poor guy gets more flack from me than on his OWN trucks lol . I dont want him having to constantly fix it for me when i blow it up lol . He did an absolutly AWESOME job on the truck and all he got for it was a trade for a Thunder Tech pro2 so i know i really made out good in the deal . I dont mean to be tooting his horn but hes a great guy as well as a friend and im appriciative of that

I have an aluminum gearbox (AX10) with metal gears I had in my komodo after I trashed the stock if u want it I take 40$ , I went to single gear my self
