Thanks Will,I wasn't totally certain if it was a 540,or 550 size being it's a 4pole!!A few other manufacturers use 550 cans with 4pole and 5mm shafts!!I wanted to make sure I didn't need a new batch of pinions! Thanks again.

I do know that in some cases they are actually both 3mm and 5mm...Case in point....Castle 1410 (3800kv, 4 pole)

3mm...typically sold with the Castle SCT Sidewinder combo

5mm....typically sold with the Castle SCT Mamba Max Pro combo

I know this because I wanted to toss a 1410 in my Savage XS...they only run 32 pitch....so I need the 3mm shaft...

Hope this helps....Bart

you can get 32 pitch gears in 5mm shaft size.
I didn't realize castle had some 3800's in 5mm. Good to know.

Really? Do you have a link for me???
Just re-read my post....I am such a dolt....

What I meant to say was the Flux XS only will take a 48 pitch pinion....I was having troubles finding a 5mm/48P pnions....

When I saw your post I was all excited....until I realized I goofed.

Kershaw will custom machine parts too so if you ever need anything they are another option besides Mike Hesse. I tend to ask Mike first, but that's because he's been so good to work with over the years.
