4 link popping off

Hey, its been a while since I have messed with the Ground Pounder. i started racing short course 4x4 then got into 1/8 buggy at the new local track so the GP got shelved for a while. Anyway I got it out yesterday did some tweaking on the suspension and got to run it for a little bit. I am now having a problem with the front 2 lower 4 link rod ends popping off. I mean they pop off very easy I looked at one funny and I swear it jumped. But anyway I dont see those listed as a separate part I dont want to buy the whole links if I dont have to, so does anyone know somewhere i can get new ones or am I stuck buying them with the links? I have never had anything 4 link before so is this a normal problem with them wearing out?

Also I have had issues with some screws bending does anyone know some good screws to upgrade to? I prefer Hex stuff to Phillips anyway.

I just ordered my son (he is 2) a Wheely King so I need to get the GP straight so i can play with him.

Thanks.

The rod ends are available separately under P/N BS702-062. We don't list them on our website, but we also have them available if necessary. Thanks!

Thanks Brett with them popping off does that sound like what I need? I just read the V3 has bigger washers to keep them from popping off could it be I just need larger washers? I am thinking mine are wore out they dont even click on anymore But I just wanted to be sure before ordering the wrong part. I am trying to figure out the other parts I want/need I will contact you to place an order though in the near future.

Thanks again.

My rods ends are popping off on all of them. I havent crashed either. I started noticing it was hard to get the steering trim to stay the same then I discovered they came off. Is there a fix for this? I dont have any washer behind mine....are there supposed to be?

I added larger diameter washers to the v3 trucks behind each of the rod ends to keep them in place. If yours didn't come with them, then you'd need washers. Easy way to tell would be if your truck has a single transmission brace it's either a v1 or v2 truck which didn't have the larger washers on them.

I don't have a P/N for the washers, but have some here that will work. PM me with your address and I can get some out to you. Thanks!

Mine is a V3; it has the dual trans mount. It doesnt have any washers though. I was able to use some #8 washers, until I dropped a m3 nut in mmmm my recliner. Yeah, I know what the heck was I doing in a recliner working on it. I knew better.
Thanks for the offer though.
