2WD 7 Pounder build

Just getting into pulling for the first time. I picked up a roller chassis that needs some work which is going to be the basis of my build.

My first initial thought was to keep it chain drive, but after mocking up parts that I have and such it will now start out as gear drive.

I ordered some gears 2x 94T spur gears from Servo City and will be using 9T or 10T pinions which should give me around 100:1 gear ratio.

The club that I will be running with here in MN runs on carpet and I was told to start out at 110:1 on down to about 70:1 gear ratio depending on motor.

Here some pictures of the chassis I am working with...

Steering linkage changed out and custom servo mount I made for it to stay centered.

How I plan to run the drive train. Just waiting on my gears to come in the mail...

Mocked up chain drive to see how it would look. Not going to use this unless I can get another bearing mount for the third jack shaft.

Well, parts did not show up today either so I moved onto the body. I have it all painted and stickered up. I am really happy with how it turned out...

Something different too and not your typical body on a puller...;)

And my new hitch mount...This was a pain in the butt to get right and be adjustable too.

Updates, All done except for the rear body mount...I went with the 12T Titan motor and the speed seems right. I am excited to go practice with this on Sunday!

Some more pictures...
