Hey guys. It was good to see everyone last weekend. The numbers were down a bit for one reason or another, but the event was still a lot of fun. This was my second race back driving again. I don't seem to be getting any better, but I got more track time then the rest of you LOL!!! Scott did a great job, as usual. He, along with Brian and Vince, are to be commended for working out being short handed. I think the new format is coming along well. We are still tweaking on it, but it is a great mix of timed racing and elimination racing.

Caden and I only pulled our 12# trucks over the weekend. Mainly because nothing else was really ready to pull. Joe, Jarred, and the rest of the pulling directors did a top notch job of putting on a great event. We had a lot of fun just hanging out and telling and retelling some stories. All in all if you were not able to make it you missed out on a great weekend of pulling and racing. In fact you also missed seeing some of the wildest drag racing the NR/CTPA has ever seen. Who knew a John Deere tractor could go that fast!!!!!! Leave it to our fellow NR/CTPA members to innovate yet another aspect of our events!!! I can't wait till the Worlds.

It was killing me knowing that I couldn't make it. Especially when I get the equipment and now it just sits.

I am on the NR/CTPA Newsletter Mailing list, so hope to meet you guys soon...

After the John Deere barrel rolled at MACH 3 it was "game on" and I knew I had to win the drags. She is a little banged up and bruised but still working fine.

I built a drag TRACTOR in my head on the way home Monday. The racers better bring their A game to Worlds, I will.

Thanks to all who helped with the clean-up. Bob and Darren did a great job with the dirt tracks.

Guys,

We also need to send thanks to Mason Grady who tended the sled all weekend. What a fine job he did of keeping the action moving !
