We have an operational dirt pulling track with bleachers and a large monster truck track for racing and freestyle demos. Watch some of the videos above or seach back a few pages to find pics from past years.

Hey Jugghead great to hear you want to come out. We have a couple of locals here in the area that are looking to come out. I need to get them to post here on the board.

I am also waiting on a sponsor annoucement that will be helping us with the event. Soon as I have the info I will list it here.

As listed above this is going to be the 5 year of doing this here at I hobby. We need to step it up this year and will. I am hoping to get some more sponsors to help things out. If anyone hears and info on possible pullers or racers put it here! Thanks Eric

I know the worlds is first on everyones mind but the iHobby is just over a month away and we need to start sending names of attendies to the show.

We need both racers and pullers mostly for the public days on Sat and Sun. But we also need bodies for setup and vendor days. If we don't have enough commitment, the club will loose this valuable venue.

So far only about 10 racers posted up and about 5 pullers.
We need at least 15+ racers and 10+ pullers to make this work.

Full names will needed as well as days attending. (can be sent by PM if you don't want to post up name)

ill be there...comming in thursday and leaveing monday so i can be there to help for tare down... sorry but cant get there sooner..

Bart if you need an airport pickup or drop from ohare (dont take a flight into midway...I suggest ohare as its right by the expo center) let me know. If you have something big to ship out you could set it up to send it hear and I can bring it for you. Great to hear you are coming out. I should be available to setup and teardown myself also.

Heres an annoucement for some sponsorship at Ihobby for us. Tamiya is working on getting us a care package that is setup to cover gearcase repairs for our clods. We should be able to have a handfull of parts to repair busted tubes, Knuckles and gears. That does not mean every part will be covered for us but it looks like we will have some one hand. Thanks much to Tamiya on that. :tmb

I am going to be starting a runnning list here of the Racers that will be coming to the event. I am going to wait another day or two here as I will be making some calls to confirm more of this. If you know for sure post here and I will add it to the online list.

Another quick annoucement Parma has joined the list along with Tamiya and Rcmt with some door prizes for the 2010 I hobby expo nrctpa demos.

Yes Joe they are going to do something. I got him the info today for both of the events. I let them know that the worlds is more important than the expo...but that something would be great for the expo too. So thanks to Parma and Tamiya!
