It helps to know what you are running now. Motors, pinion and battery.

You can go faster by changing to lower turn motors, stepping up pinion tooth count or adding more cells for your battery.

A Super Rooster will handle a pair of 12 turn motors but will get quite hot after a few minutes of running. 14T motors would be better for longer bashing sessions.

19 turn motors should probably be a little faster than 10 mph. What kind of motors are you using? I have some Epic 19 turns that I run with either a six or seven pack through an EVX 2 and it moves pretty good. 10 mph is probably about stock clod speed. Maybe there is something else slowing your truck down.

i run 12t titan motors with an evx-2 in my clod and it rips ! but im running 16v though :burn
10 mph does seem slow but a 6 cell pack is a touch weak imo for 2 motors

I also run them in one of my clods and it only runs about 12mph

well with those motors i have found out if your not running 16v through them they dont run at there full potential
Just about all 550 motors require at least 14.4v to come alive, but 540 motors only require 7.2-8.4v to get their top speed. You can add a cell or so but then you really start to destroy the armatures and brushes a lot faster. I prefer the 540 setup mostly because you can add a lot of runtime with only using one pack and the weight savings helps the truck handle better.

if he is running a super rooster i really dont think it will take 2 packs , he would need to jump to at least a 14.4 evx

If you are running a Super Rooster and 550 titan motors that won't well at all. I think you might be mixing electronics that shouldn't be run together.

Correct me if I'm wrong. I was under the impression that 12 turn Titans had advanced fixed timing. It's the 23 turn that dont.

One other thing that could be happening with your 19 turn motors is if they're they type that have fixed 24 degree timing advancement, then you're actually having the motors fighting each other. Are they faster forward than reverse? If so, then what's happening is one axle is running really fast and the other is running in the slower reverse.
