if you have a manual did you remember to install the B12 sleeve in the counter gear?

You know, I'd have to check. What's it made out of? I'll double check my axle part bags and see if I see something like it. It spins true so I would think so.

it is a little black plastic cylinder that slide's down into the gears shaft hole.
probably about 3/8" long 1/4" or so in diamter.
in the manual it is part# B12 so it would be #12 on parts tree B.

if your using bearings you dont need it.

Thanks for all the info and suggestions! I'm a dork and yes, the pinion was rubbing on the case. I moved them closer to the motor and still had full mesh with the counter? Gear.
I have bearings so that is good to know that b12 isn't needed!
