    A well tuned engine should be below 250 degrees. More oil lube will prevent overheating and make you engine last longer.

    Get yourself some punisher shafts from rc4wd. They are sliders and stronger than the cheap tamyia brass u-joints.

    The biggest problem you have is different brands of fuels and plugs. Use Fuel with 18% oil lube to cool the engine down. Use a os #8 plug and I suspect you damaged the mix needle by turning in to far. As for trying a new carb The damage was already done from the improper tuning and wrong fuel...

    A Novak super rooster is all you need for a ESC. Brushless is more expensive to get.

    Txt-2 servo mount/steering kit

    The txt-1 front bumper guard works best for steering. If using a 2 channel radio with 4 wheel steering you need a "Y" harness with a reverser. ONLY way it will work! Or to use a 4 channel radio. Some 3 channel radio will work if you have the extra setup features.

    4 wheel steering is going to be tighter than 2 wheel. The clod is only 2 wheel in the direction you drive. Any servo with 150 oz is going to be good enough to steer 4 wheels or 2.
