Rumour has it he is still in business but under a different name he changed the name several times not a clue what it is called now. Tamiya need to re re the TXT-2 getting hold of certain parts is very difficult.
Cool New York :cool from memory I think I used 15mm bolts don't quote me on that though. My blocks are thread less hence why I used lock nuts if your blocks are threaded just use bolts from the underside with some lock tight applied.
Servos that I used are standard size.
You have two choices you can cut the stock grey plastic mounting blocks off the stock servo mounts and then mount the blocks on top of the Xtreme servo mounts or;
Order some TXT mounting blocks off Mike Hesse and mount those on top of Xtreme servo mounts.
That is a great buy :) sadly virtually no custom chassis to pick from Defiance racing and Jamie Grund made custom chassis for TXT format in recent times so maybe contact them.
Your best bet is to transfer TXT-2 parts into CF chassis plates that you have will be a direct fit no modifications...
FANTASTIC! I love how you have made your own version of Grave Digger grandma truck so to speak all rusted up so cool :cool:cool:cool
You have the retro monster truck stance spot on what wheelbase are you using?
Have you got a link to the build thread by any chance?
This will have been asked a million times has any one got a recent email for John Boyer? I cant stand facebook but I looked for John on there and could not find him I am stuck for contact details.
