This build should be done by 08/23/2013
    Last updates

I added a quick charge box to charge and balance batteries without removing the body or the batteries from the truck

I added a rx box with a switch to change setup from 8s to 4s at the flip of a switch

Also wires are nicely hidden inside that box mounted on top between the battery trays

I found the perfect spot for that monster size esc
And the 20a ubec from castle!

    Body is getting painted

Still waiting on those wheels to arrive

The truck is loaded now and looking good!

    Awesome, awesome, awesome!!!

That's probably the nicest Mad Force Kruiser I've ever seen! That wheel+tire combo is a killer!

Killer truck. I love how the wheels balloon those tires out a little bit. Mike Hesse is the man. What's the deal with the skinny little silver spring on the front pass shock?

Heres the 1st problem I came across. I changed the gearing by changing the 13t hectical pinion to a 10t and I cant shim it properly. .. is it even possible? I hate the grinding noise...

If I cant manage to fix it. Ill go back to the 13t and order the bullet prof tranny from supershafty... truck seems to be lacking torque at low rpm.

Since its direct chain drive the motor is cogging untill I reach 5km/h... sooo crawling is not possible as it is...

Im thinking of going back with the original spur/pinion setup for low rpm raw power...

at 1st I didnt like the direct drive setup because of the lacking low end... but damn now that i went back to the original setup on 6s it feels boring!

so Im thinking trying the tekin t8 truggy direct drive with a sensor cable!

    Ill try that tonight!!

BTW the lesson I learned today playing 40 min with madforce VE (locktite everything!!!) If you got something loose He'll FIND IT

I tried 5 different kind of setup today
    1. Spur pinion with tekin t8 gen 2 truggy 1350kv on 6s (super boaring)
    2. Spur pinion with stock motor 2000kv on 6s
    3. Spur pinion with tekin t8 2650kv on 6s
    4. Direct chain drive (small chain pinion mounted directly on motor pinion) with neu 1521
    5. Direct chain drive with tekin t8 1350kv on 6s sensored this setup is really what i am looking for performance wise.

Direct chain drive with a sensored setup is the really fkn awesome!!! Especially on 6s!!!

What ever happened to this build, did you ever work out the gearing?
