E-monster gt
hey guys i just finished a electric conversion on my monster gt thought i would post it here since there isnt really a spot for it!!! i used a losi 8t center diff with a 50t spur i made a plate to go on the bottom of the chassis to help hold diff and stiffen that area, i used the tekon motor mount with a 2000kv tacon motor, and a mmm esc running 4s, i made the battery box out of some aluminum i had picked up at the local hobby store. the center dogbones were made up by mike from rc-monster.

A customer of mine here in Dallas has built one of these. I think Team Assciated needs to take notes from you guys, this could EASILY be the E-REVO killer. Such a great idea!!

Great looking truck and conversion...
I dont know if you saw mine on down the page. I used an actual E-Savage transmission in it. It works really well, but I really like how clean yours looks with the smaller and lighter center diff. What weight fluid are you running in the center diff? I think the Monster GT is a very underappreciated truck really. They are strong and handle well and I could see one being a good contender of the savage flux, E-Revo, and E-Maxx. I built mine mainly for hill climbing and playing in the dirt. I would have got an E-Maxx, but didnt want to have to blow $100 on the driveline to make one hold up for me.

This is a great idea. I might look into converting mine over to electric.
I think you are right. Very under appreiciated truck. It's to bad AE hasn't come up with a electric version yet. Up until the 8.0 they never really sunk and research into the MGT like they do their other models.
