Also, another tip is to put some star lock washers on the motor screws. It will help keep them tight and keep your motor from shifting.
That retro body is awesome. Terry Plum does great work. The USHRA logo near the back is a cool touch too.

I'm going to guess and say the pin that goes through the top shaft that engages the slipper clutch is broken. Common problem with the Slash's.
