Powdercoating is more expensive but last along time. Pretty durable. If not scuff it with Scotchbrite and lay down a good primer. Hope this helps, good
Also, if you can find yourself some zinc chromate primer, the paint will stick much better to the aluminum. Zinc chromate primer can be found in marine
scuff it good, prime then kryon in thin coats
Better yet spend some extra and have it powder coated (Fatboy does it)
I'm new here and to RC in general, so I'll apologize for my ignorance up front. I purchased a TXT-1, looking to turn it into Grave Digger.
I have 2 2wd slash trucks now, going to back down to 1 and just have 1 4wd and 1 2wd. I am also building a rustler to have some fun out on the open days.
If your not really gonna race it much, you will have a blast with the Traxxas, I had a couple of the 2wd Slash's and had them for almost 5 years. My kids
yeah I thought they were steel too... until I had one of the link end balls loosen and strip the anodizing around it and it was silver not dark greeny
pretty much everything imex has for quik refference
